Papua New Guinea - Radio Enga 2410 kHz QSL and Audio

Tavurvur Volcano, Papua New Guinea (Photo Wikimedia Commons).

It was a pleasant surprise to hear Radio Enga, Papua new Guinea on 2410 kHz for the first time during a holiday/dxpedition at the South African coastal location of Cintsa (45 km from East London).

The 10 kw signal made it through during excellent reception conditions back on the 18th July 1991 via the FRG7 and 50 metre longwire antenna.

Station Technician Felix Tumun kindly verified my reception report with a friendly and detailed QSL letter.
