ZNS 1 from the Bahamas on 1540 kHz was heard at Pinelands on the 18th April 1979 via the Siera receiver and 20 metre longwire antenna. I was fortunate to receive a QSL card in response to my reception report.Radio Bahamas is a regular here at Fish Hoek. The station is usually received with an almost local quality signal around dawn during our dxpeditions to Seefontein as heard on this recording made on the 28th July 2005 :
